About the event
This is a great opportunity for Ship Watchers to pop in to the Soo Locks Visitor Center on the first day of the shipping season! The SLVC is filled with educational displays talking about the Great Lakes and the ships that sail on them and their cargoes. There are interactive displays too great for all ages.
Roger LeLievre the Publisher of the most well known book on the Lakes, "Know Your Ships" will be on hand to meet fans and sell and sign copies of this year's 2025 edition! I will be there as well to meet people and answer questions you may have about shipping and the locks so be sure to join us!
