First Ship at the Soo Locks!

This is an evening that you do not want to miss! First ship of the season is always exciting. You get to see lots of people who have the same passion for the ships that you do, it's a great social evening and we get to see the first vessel lock through the Soo Locks to start our Great Lakes Shipping season here in Sault Ste Marie.

The Lock Park opens at 11:00pm and will stay open until the first ship locks through, so usually around 1:15am they are sending folks toward the gates. The viewing platform is always packed, news media is around interviewing folks, and it's just generally a happy and fun time to be here!
