About the event
Thousands of people flock to Sault Ste Marie, Michigan every year to attend Engineer's Day, the one day a year when you have an opportunity to cross over the MacArthur Lock and spend time on the grassy area between the MacArthur and Poe Locks to watch the ships lock through being closer than you could ever imagine being. In addition, a large tent is set up with organizations like the Interlake Steamship Company, the Original Soo Locks Boat Tours and the Soo Locks Visitors Center Association there to meet people, talk about what they do and answer your questions!
